Kv1.3 inhibitors

Kv 1.3 is a voltage gated potassium channel that is specifically expressed by activated effector memory T cells. Inhibitors of Kv1.3 offer the potential for selective modulation of the immune system for the treatment of autoimmune disorders such as multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and type-1 diabetes.

Evotec has applied its renowned electrophysiology platform to identify multiple hit series of potent inhibitors of Kv1.3 that show good selectivity over related ion channels.
